Nigerian skit maker, Kiekie has recounted her ex-employer’s response after requesting a salary increase.
In an old interview with Chude Jideonwo, the skit maker disclosed that she quit the job due to her employer’s response to her request for a raise.
Kiekie Seeks For Salary Increase
In response to her request, her employer complimented her physical appearance as a TV host, urging her to use her beauty to attract men for financial gain.
Subsequently, she quit her job due to her employer’s response.
Kiekie Reflects On Employer’s Response To Salary Increase
Reflecting on the encounter, she stated, “If that’s the orientation you have, it means you have no value for what I’m doing. That’s not a place for me“.
Kiekie’s Rise To Fame
Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as Kiekie, is a Nigerian content creator, TV host, actress and fashion entrepreneur.
Born on June 20, 1990, in Ibadan, she studied Mass Communication at Bowen University and later obtained certifications in fashion from the London College of Fashion and a Master’s in Marketing from the London School of Business.
Her career began in 2015 as a producer and presenter for GoldMyne TV, and later Spice TV, where she hosted fashion-focused shows.
Before fame, she worked as a fashion stylist and even styled singer Simi to fund her passion.
