Olori Janet Afolabi brings hope to families through Food Bank outreach

Olori Janet Afolabi, wife of the Alapomu of Apomu Kingdom in Osun State, has extended a helping hand to the needy in the town. Through her Food Bank, Olori Afolabi shared food items to many people in the community especially vulnerable women and children.

Speaking during the event Olori Afolabi said she organised the program to provide essential food items to households facing economic challenges. According to her the outreach was borne out of her commitment to ensure that no child or family in Apomu goes to bed hungry.” No child should go to bed hungry. No child should remain awake because hunger has made him or her unable to sleep”

Beneficiaries expressed appreciation, describing the gesture as timely.

Christiana Akinlabu, the Otun Iyalode of Apomu, a Senior Palace Chief said the initiative reflects Olori Afolabi’s unwavering passion to serve humanity and her belief that access to food is a basic necessity that should be denied anyone especially children.

The Food Bank Outreach underscores Olori Afolabi’s enduring commitment to humanitarian service and community development.
