The National Leadership of the OK Movement has congratulated members appointed to its Presidential Campaign Council, charging them to approach the assignment with discipline, sacrifice, strategic thinking and commitment to the movement’s political objectives ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The National Secretary of the movement, Saadatu Sani, conveyed the message in a statement congratulating the newly appointed members, describing their selection as more than an appointment but a call to duty and service to Nigeria.
Sani said the Presidential Campaign Council had been entrusted with the responsibility of taking the vision, message and aspirations of the movement’s principals to Nigerians across the country, from the cities to the grassroots, states, local governments, wards and communities.
She said the OK Movement was not built around individuals seeking personal recognition but was driven by what she described as a broader national vision of mobilising Nigerians around the possibility of a better, prosperous, united and functional Nigeria.
The National Secretary urged members of the council to discharge their responsibilities with discipline, loyalty, humility and courage while remaining committed to the collective vision of the movement.
According to her, the task ahead would require hard work, strategic thinking, grassroots mobilisation and effective communication, as well as the ability of members to work together as one political family.
“Our responsibility is to ensure that the message of our principals reaches every Nigerian and that the voice of the people is heard across the length and breadth of our nation,” Sani said.
She said the movement expected members of the council to demonstrate through their activities that the organisation was prepared and committed to the political assignment ahead.
Sani added that the council’s responsibility included broad mobilisation and engagement with Nigerians across the country, stressing that the movement’s message must reach communities at the grassroots.
She urged members to see their appointments as responsibilities requiring commitment rather than merely positions of recognition.
“A New Nigeria Is Possible. Nigeria Will Be OK,” she said, urging members of the campaign council to rise to what she described as a historic responsibility.
The campaign structure is headed by John Ughulu as Director-General, while Saadatu Sani serves as National Secretary.
The zonal coordination structure includes Suleiman Abubakar for the North Central; Hashimu Dungurawa for the North West; Amadu Gwambe for the North East; Dr Adebayo Adefolaseye for the South West; Christopher Ighodaro for the South South; and El-shaddai Ikeh for the South East.
The state coordinators are Maiyaki Samson for Kogi, Tokji J. Mandim for Plateau, Yusuf Abdullahi for Nasarawa, Aliyu Tershaku for Benue, Awal Goma for Niger, Ibrahim Jabir for the FCT and Kazeem Olawuyi for Kwara.
In the North West, Ibrahim Kaya is Kaduna coordinator, Muhammed Tukur Sokoto, Rabiu Na Begu Kano, Hon. Usman Sani Zamfara, Sabiu Hassan Jigawa, Armayau Shehu Kebbi and Yusif Sule Katsina, while Balaraba Abdullahi serves as National Women Mobilisation Director in Jigawa.
For the North East, the state coordinators are Abubakar Bala for Adamawa, Ismail Mairungu for Gombe, Hajiya Salaha Abubakar for Taraba, Ahmed Aminu for Bauchi, Ibrahim Garba Muhammad, Esq., for Yobe and Comr. Aliyu AK Balarabe for Borno.
In the South West, Otunba Segun Odekunle is Osun coordinator, Bababowale Olagbenro Oyo, Animasaun Diamond Ekiti, Shakirat Arowolo Ogun, Ibironke Ogboro Lagos and Ibrahim Shuibu Ondo.
Christopher Ighodaro heads the South South zone, with Egwu Arong coordinating Cross River, Elijah Noah Akwa Ibom, Eromosele Jatto Edo, Favour Emerure Delta, Furoebi Akene Bayelsa and Dr Princess Jane Petters Rivers.
In the South East, Nwanebu Christian Onyinyechi is Imo coordinator, Chukwudi Onyejekwe Anambra, Roland Edeh Ebonyi, Victor Onyia Enugu and Prof. Zulu Ofoelue Abia.
The movement also appointed Rev. Mike Agbon as Director, Inter-Ethics Group in Northern Nigeria; Sabo Gashua, Director of Grassroots Mobilisation; Glory Adayi, Director of Women Affairs; Kabir Yahaya, Director of Contact and Engagement; and Abdumumini Tijjani, Director of Mobilisation.
Others include Yusuf Mani, Director of Special Duties; Peace Daful, Director of Procurement; Prof. Charles Nwekeaku, Director of South Eastern Town Hall Association; Sunmisola Adebayo, Director of Information Technology; Kingdom Okere, Director of Legal Affairs; Abiodun Dabiri, Director of Strategy and Planning; Richard Enemona, CSP (Rtd), Director of Security and Intelligence; and Aisha Abdulrahaman, Director of Administration.
Sani congratulated all members of the Presidential Campaign Council and urged them to remain focused on the collective assignment, stressing that the journey had begun and that the mission was Nigeria.
