Odartey Lamptey’s Daughter and Wife Jams to Camidoh’s Sugarcane While Cruising In Their Car

A video of Nii Odartey Lamptey’s wife, Ruweida Lamptey, and their daughter Malaika Lamptey jamming to the Afrobeat song of the moment, ‘Sugarcane’ has been shared on Instagram.

The adorable family of the former Black Stars dribbler was seen singing the song word for word while dancing and making beautiful moves.

The footage comes days after an Accra High Court granted Odartey Lamptey custody of his East Legon mansion which reversed an earlier decision that gave the house to Mr. Lamptey’s ex-wife in their bitter divorce settlement.

The report that surfaced to this effect from multiple sources on the internet says the judgment has taken effect already from April 5, 2022. Lamptey who was once predicted he would be the next Pele owing to his incredible charisma on the green turf has been renting since 2014 after his wife sued to claim the house following their divorce.

After the salty divorce preceded by wranglings and legal disputes, Lamptey was asked to vacate his five-bedroom house at Dome plus a sum of ₵400,000 cedis as alimony to the ex-wife but Ms. Gloria Lamptey insisted she wanted the East Legon House instead.

The relationship between Odartey Lamptey and Gloria Lamptey hit a snag in 2013 after DNA results revealed that he was not the biological father of his three children after 20 years of marriage.
