The arrest was confirmed by the national president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas on Thursday 16th June 2022 in a chat with Qed.ng.

Emeka Rollas described the case as a very serious one, adding that the incident is being handled by the Family Empowerment and Youth Re-Orientation Path Initiative led by the first lady of the State, Martha Udom Emmanuel.

Emeka Rollas further stated that the incident involves one of the members of the Actors Guild of Nigeria who doubles as a Special Assistant to the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, hence the accusation leveled against the actor is a sad development but the organization will not condone such acts.

“To get involved with a child as young as 16years is not something I and the association I represent, would stand for. This is a very sad development involving a member of ours, but I wouldn’t want to comment any further on this case,” he said.

In some other news trending in Ghana, American-Liberian-Ghanaian comedian and movie star, Michael Blackson has also poured down his frustrations about the increased gas prices in Ghana.

Speaking with Hitz FM’s Doreen Avio, the Hollywood star stated that the Akufo Addo-led government needs to devise strategies in cushioning the lives of the average Ghanaians by decreasing the prices of fuel and gas in the country.

He said that the deteriorating issues facing Ghanaians at the moment need no National Cathedral but rather need the government to lay down new policies to curb the inflation in gas prices in the country.

Michael Blackson further revealed that he finds it very absurd that the fuel prices in California in the States where he lives are the same as the prices in Ghana, hence the leaders need to find solutions to such problems to soften things for transport workers instead of building a national cathedral.
