No Ghanaian Artistes As Barack Obama Drops 2022 Summer Playlist
First African-American president of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama II has released his famous summer playlists.
As Afrobeats continues its progression unto international borders, its not surprising some of the artistes championing the course made it to the former American president’s summer playlist for 2022.
Top act in the African Entertainment scene, Burna Boy, Tems and Pheelz from Nigerian had a spot on the former president’s summer playlist but unfortunately, no Ghanaian artiste made it to the 2022 list.
The playlist was shared by the former president himself on Tuesday, July 26 via the bird app. According to the 44th United States president, it’s an example of how music really can bring us all together.
