My Pregnant Aunt Stabbed Me With A Bag Because I Didn’t Wash Her Bag

A concerned neighbor in Adaloko, Ojo local government area of Lagos State, has shared a video of a young girl who was allegedly brutalized by her aunt, whom she stays with.

In the video clip, the unidentified neighbor interviewed the victim. According to the victim, who revealed her name as Chinanza, she said that her pregnant aunt stabbed her with a knife because she refused to wash her bag. He added that the abuse of the young girl has been going on for some time now.

In response to the video, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Benjamin Hundeyin, said that the 30-year-old suspect identified as Eucheria Ndigwe has been arrested by the police. A statement his official Twitter handle reads: “The suspect, Eucheria Ndigwe, aged 30, was arrested yesterday. Due to the fact that she is heavily pregnant, she has been moved to our recently upgraded Gender Unit, where, in conjunction with @Lagosdsva, she will get adequate medical attention while the investigation progresses.”
