MUSIC: Fireboy DML – Peru

Sensational Nigerian afrobeat recording artiste and gifted songwriter, Fireboy DML is back with another well curated record captioned; “Peru”.

The latest output comes up after the multiple award winning singer performed his hit song; “Tattoo” for Hometown Heroes: Nigeria. ‘Peru’ happens to be his first official release of the year.

Fireboy DML, real name Adedamola Adefolahan is signed to YBNL Nation, a record label founded by Nigerian rapper Olamide. In 2019, he dropped his first studio album, “Laughter, Tears And Goosebumps”.

Fireboy DML won the most promising act of the year at the City People Music Awards in 2019. His second studio album , “Apollo” was released in 2020.

At the Headies 2020, Fireboy’s first album, “Laughter, Tears And Goosebumps” won the Best R&B Album. “Apollo” album won the album of the year and best pop album. His song, “Tattoo” also bagged an award for the best R&B Single.
