Melissa’s daughter emerged into acting out of her interest. As stated by The Nine actress, Vivian used to keep asking her parents to let her appear in movies. She told,

“They (Vivian and her younger sister) kept asking and we said no for months and [then] my oldest said, ‘Am I not allowed to even try?’”
