Man City’s Bench Against Chelsea Is More Valuable Than Squad Of Some Top European Clubs This Season

Manchester City lifted the Premier league title for the third consecutive season last Sunday in front of their Home Fans. The Citizens were confirmed as the Premier league Champions on Saturday afternoon after Nottingham Forest defeated Arsenal, thereby making their Premier league game against Chelsea the following day, on Sunday, a dead rubber.

Since the club had already won the Premier league title, Pep Guardiola didn’t field an invincible squad against Chelsea as Cole Palmer, Rico Lewis, Sergio Gomez, Kalvin Philips and Stefan Ortega, who are squad Players, all started against Chelsea.

That was why Manchester City’s Starters like Ederson, Ruben Dias, John Stones, Bernardo Silva, Ilkay Gundogan, Jack Grealish, Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland were all on the bench.

On Monday afternoon, One Football did an analysis of the Market Value of each of the Player on Manchester City bench against Chelsea, and the results showed that the value of the Players is worth a total of €655million.

Erling Haaland was the most valuable Player on Manchester City’s bench against Chelsea on Sunday and he’s worth €170million, followed by Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne who are all worth €80million each.

Transfer Market has it that the Players were worth a combined market value of €655million, making the bench more valuable than the total Market value of some top European clubs this season.

While Manchester City’s bench against Chelsea was worth €655million, the value of Borussia Dortmund squad this season is just €547.70million. The Value of Ajax squad this season is just €280million. The new Italian Champions Napoli is worth €629million, according to Transfer Market.

Manchester City’s Bench against Chelsea is more expensive than the entire squad of Borussia Dortmund, Ajax and Napoli this season.
