The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport has honoured the Head of Provost Unit of the FCT Directorate of Road Traffic Services, Dr Sani Mathew Ibrahim, with an Award of Excellence.
Ibrahim, who is also the institute’s Vice-President, North, received the award at a ceremony held at the institute’s Zaria branch, Kaduna State, in recognition of his contributions to the advancement of logistics and transport in Nigeria.
The institute described the award as recognition of Ibrahim’s dedication, commitment and contribution to the transport and logistics sector.
Some stakeholders at the event described him as a pacesetter whose leadership had continued to add value to the sector.
The Director of the FCT DRTS, Abubakar Yaldu, hailed the award as timely and deserving.
Yaldu said the recognition reflected Ibrahim’s contributions as Head of the Provost Unit under the directorate.
Colleagues and staff members of Ibrahim also expressed satisfaction with the recognition.
They described the award as an acknowledgement of his dedication and contribution to the transport and logistics sector.
The ceremony attracted stakeholders and other members of the institute, who joined in celebrating the recipient.
