Over the past years, some actors/actresses have openly addressed and overcome their fears, while some are still very afraid to even mention them. Here we will talk about the top ten actresses of Hollywood with some insane, scary, or even weird phobias.

1. Jennifer Aniston

For anyone of you who doesn’t know, Jennifer Aniston suffers from Thalassophobia. It is a fear of ‘sea’, ‘deep waters’, or any kind of water bodies such as pools, ponds, and lakes.

The Friends actress has been vocal about her fear of underwater quite a few times. Though she has done a few underwater scenes in movies and TV shows, she is terrified of underwater in real life.

During an interview, she revealed that the real reason behind her fear was her incident in a swimming pool. She said,

“I was a kid and I was riding this tricycle around a swimming pool and I drove my tricycle into the swimming pool and I didn’t let go and my brother tried to help me, So, I can’t go underwater and no one will believe me. I honestly can’t.”

2. Scarlett Johansson

Don’t get surprised if I say our very own Black Widow is terrified of birds. She has Ornithophobia, a fear of birds. The actress will steer away from anywhere at any time if she sees them has a chance to run away. She said,

“Something about wings and beaks and the flapping. I’m terrified of them. That still hasn’t gone away. My uncle is terrified of birds, as well, so it runs in the family.”

Moreover, the actress also suffers from Katsaridaphobia, a fear, or dislike of cockroaches. Well, this one is quite common.

Back in 2018, her husband Da Shepard talked about her fears while appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He said, “What I had been told thus far is she just doesn’t like going in the pool, She’ll take the kids out there but she just sits in a lawn chair or whatever.”

Shepard also revealed that whenever she goes for a swim she wears gloves specially intended for pool water. He further added, “When her fingertips are pruney she doesn’t want to touch other people’s skin.”
