A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions online after revealing the unusual routine she follows immediately after checking into a hotel.
In a video circulating on social media, the woman was seen putting on a nylon glove before thoroughly inspecting the hotel room, particularly the bed.
She searched through the sheets and appeared to point out what looked like tiny bloodstains, prompting her to continue examining the bedding.
The woman also took extra precautions to secure the hotel room, using several padlocks while further barricading the door with chairs.
She subsequently moved to the bathroom, where she carried out another thorough inspection, checking different areas of the facility.
In a particularly striking moment, she made the sign of the cross on the bathroom mirror, although she did not explain why she did so.
The video has since generated mixed reactions online, with some people describing her routine as excessive caution while others said they could relate to her concerns about hotel hygiene and security.
