It was ”programmed” for Sydney Talker to meet, sign me as a mechanic – Khaid

Buzzing Nigerian musician, Sulaimon Solomon, professionally called Khaid, has asserted that Sydney Talker meeting him when he was a mechanic was a grand design by fate.

According to him, it was programmed for him to be doing that particular job at the time he was discovered and signed by the skit-maker.

The ”With You” crooner stated this when he appeared as a guest on Hip TV programme, Trending, hosted by reality star, KimOprah.

Sydney Talker, who founded Neville Records in 2022 unveiled Khaid as the label’s first artiste in the same year.

Khaid said he had done several menial jobs before the meeting the changed his life. The 18-year-old said he worked as a painter and car mechanic at different times before hitting stardom.

The musicians also said he has always known that he was destined for greatness, and the menial jobs he did were just part of the process.

“I see everything as programming. At that time when I was a car mechanic, I knew it was just programmed for me to be there at that time. I knew it was necessary for me to be there at that time.

“I knew that was not where I was going to be forever. But I just knew it was necessary for me to go through that process either for something that’s coming in the future or something that’s gonna happen at that time.

“I knew it was a process at that time. And I vibed with the process until I got to where I felt like is where I’m going to,” Khaid said.

CorrectNG recall that Khaid had announced a donation of N2 million to the family of rapper, Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad.

He made the announcement via Twitter (X) on Tuesday, September 19, adding that it is also meant as a support for late Mohbad’s 5-month-old son Liam Aloba.
