Nigerian skit-maker and comedian, Carter Efe has slammed Afrobeats sensation, Ruger for shaming his song by referring it to as ‘noise’.

Ruger had in a tweet via his official account, shaded his colleagues in the industry while apologizing to his fans that they had to listen to music that was unappealing.

The comment was targeted at those that released song within the week which includes, Tiwa Savage featuring Asake on Loaded, Mavin All Stars and Carter.

Ruger had asked fans to forgive him for delaying the release of his song, and allowing them listen to ‘noise’.

Carter Efe did not find his statement funny, so he decided to let him know. The comedian turned singer, joined Ruger’s Instagram live session to call him out for downplaying his work.

He wondered if the ‘Girlfriend’ crooner spoke in that manner because he is talented or knows how to sing.

Efe also came to the defence of his mentor, who released his album, More Love Less Ego within the week.

“So you mean I dropped noise? You have the guts to say I dropped noise. Is it because you’re talented? Why are you so proud? You’re so proud of yourself. Is it because you can sing? Don’t try it again”, the Machala hit maker fumed.

Reacting to the outburst, Ruger tendered a heartfelt apology , and promised not to say such anymore.
