I’m wealthy and I’ll be running for President of Nigeria – Hanks Anuku

Nigerian movie star, Hanks Anuku has announced his desire to join the contest to become the President of Nigeria.

The actor made this known in an interview with Premium Times on Friday, November 18, as he gave assurance that he is sane and strong.

Hanks, who was speaking on a recent disturbing video of him looking unkempt and roaming the streets, also boasted that he is a wealthy entertainer.

He said; “I will never be what they say I am because I am more significant than that. I am in Asaba at the moment, and I’m doing ok.

I am alive, sane, strong, blessed and wealthy. I will be contesting as President of Nigeria.”

CorrectNG reported yesterday that Anuku finally broke silence amid speculations that he was mentally ill.

In a fresh video he made to address concerns, he said the reports making the rounds are just ‘crap’. He also asked bloggers to leave him alone and stop writing unconfirmed reports about him having mental challenges.

The veteran action movie star said he has been on set and the photos or videos circulating online are from the movie shoot.

He cursed critics and prayed for the holy spirit to forgive anybody posting the videos for trying to tarnish his image.

Hanks said; “Stop writing crap about me and leave me alone. If you want to act in a movie, if you need help, you can come to me. I’ve been on set, and anyone writing using those pictures on stage to try and tarnish my image, may the Holy Spirit forgive you. We shall hook up pretty soon.”
