Kehinde Bankole, a Nigerian actress, was honored with the Best Lead Actress Award at the 10th Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards for her outstanding performance in the film ‘Adire’.
She has now openly expressed her aspiration to receive an Academy Award, also known as the Oscars.
She told Saturday Beats:
“I appreciated my other colleagues, such as Yvonne Jegede, Funlola Aofiyebi Raimi and Ifeanyi Kalu, who starred in the movie, because it was a team work, and without the story, everyone cannot perform.
