Bayern Munich Reaches Agreement to Appoint Next Manager

Bayern Munich has finalized an agreement to appoint Vincent Kompany as their next manager.

Following the announcement of Thomas Tuchel’s departure this summer, Bayern’s pursuit of successors, including Xabi Alonso, Julian Nagelsmann, and Ralf Rangnick, proved fruitless. Additionally, an attempt to acquire Oliver Glasner from Crystal Palace was rebuffed.

Despite unsuccessful efforts to persuade Tuchel to stay, Bayern has now secured Kompany to lead the team next season. Sky in Germany reports that a deal has been reached with Burnley for Kompany’s services.

“I’m pleased about the connection between Bayern and Vinny,” Guardiola stated. “I hold Vinny in high regard, regardless of Burnley’s relegation. I have immense respect for his work, personality, understanding of the game, and media handling.

“I wish Bayern to make the best decision. I have deep affection for that club. I have numerous reasons to admire Bayern Munich. Hopefully, they make the right choice. If they believe Vinny is the right fit, they will have my unconditional support.”
