If You Cared About People, You’d Have Told Us What You Meant About Your Letter—Sheggz to Adekunle

During the Big Brother Naija reunion show, Sheggz, one of the leveled-up housemates, tackled Adekunle over the newsletter he wrote on their trip to South Africa, explaining how many of his co-stars were living fake lives because all the things they were flaunting online were actually sponsored by Pepsi. Sheggz stated that if he cared about people, he would have told them what he meant about his newsletter.

Sheggz further stated that Adekunle was in the right position to make clarifications about his letter because his fans created a narrative out of it. According to him, “For me, I don’t have any deep situation with him; I just feel like he should be more direct, he should be more honest, and If you care about people because that’s the most important thing, if you actually care, and if somebody misunderstands what you were saying, you can carry it up and say this is what I said yesterday.”

“An essay you did not know, and your fans took it a certain type of way, all of us in the house took it a certain type of way, you knew the energy, you knew how we were feeling, so if you care enough, you’ll say, Sheggz, I wasn’t talking about Azul ooh, Eloswag, I wasn’t talking about this ooh, Soyin, I was talking about this ooh, this is how it came across, so if I rubbed you the wrong way, I apologize, that’s somebody that cares, and if it’s someone that is playing a game, he doesn’t care, and I respect it.”
