A young Nigerian man has resorted to social media to blast critics of the Yahoo boys, also known as internet fraudsters.
In an online video, he claimed that those who speak out against Yahoo Yahoo are only doing so because they can eat easily.
He stated that if some people in the nation did not resort to yahoo, everyone would begin robbing from themselves.
Many people, he claims, are able to support their parents and sponsor their siblings in school because of cyber-fraud (yahoo).
He emphasized that using Yahoo is not a felony while hurling insults at those who disagree.
In a related development, Eunice Odigie, an Edo lady, has claimed that parents in Benin city are assisting and actively supporting Yahoo boys’ actions.
Ms Odigie made the statement on Tuesday, after a Yahoo boy named Osas allegedly killed his girlfriend, Elohor Oniorosa, on Christmas Eve in Benin City for suspected ritual motives.
She expressed her dissatisfaction with the situation on Facebook, writing:
“In Benin city, at least 90% of parents are aware that their daughters are dating Yahoo/ G- boys and they are 100% in support of it.”
In fact, most of the expensive weddings in Benin have young Yahoo boys as the groom…and you see the bride’s parent and siblings smiling “mumushly” when those yahoo boys starts their money spraying display.
If you listen carefully, you may even hear the bride and groom’s father shouting them get money!!!

Parents asking their daughters’ suitors what they do for a living is now for mere formality and not because they are truly interested in how they amassed their wealth.
