ICE Arrests Nigerian National Over Sexual and Child-Related Offences [VIDEO]

Olatunde Abiodun Olusanjo, a 53-year-old Nigerian, has been arrested in Los Angeles by the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) as part of ongoing deportation proceedings.

According to ICE, Olusanjo was taken into custody on April 21, 2026, by its Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) unit and is currently being held pending further immigration action.

The agency said his arrest is connected to previous criminal allegations, including child molestation, sexual battery, and solicitation of lewd conduct.

ICE stated that these allegations were a key factor in the decision to detain him.

It added that Olusanjo had earlier encountered legal issues in the United States, with his criminal record contributing to the move to place him in custody and begin removal proceedings.

The agency reiterated that its Enforcement and Removal Operations prioritises individuals with criminal histories as part of efforts to enhance public safety and enforce immigration laws.
