Popular Kumawood actor, Sylvester Agyapong, popularly known as Sly has stated that he was proud of his people in the Ashanti Kingdom when they descended on the loud-mouthed Afia Schwarzenegger when she dragged Mercy Asiedu and her crew when they were traveling to Dubai.

It would be vividly recalled Afia Schwarzenegger in a TikTok video dragged the veteran actress and her team for wearing winter jackets while on their holiday trip in Dubai. She tagged the team as “villagers” and also described them as a disgrace to the Ashati kingdom and Otumfour himself.

Her comments meted harsh reactions from Ghanaians especially from the people in the Ashanti Kingdom as they lambast her for making a mockery of Mercy Asiedu and the entire Ashanti Kingdom.

In reaction to that, Kumawood actor, Sly has intimated that there was nothing wrong with the fact that Mercy Asiedu and her team wore jackets before boarding the flight. According to him, the air conditions in the plane works at a very high rate, thus most people put on jackets before boarding planes but immediately take them off when they land at their destinations especially in countries like the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

He said that he was very proud when the people of the Ashanti Kingdom insulted Afia Schwarzenegger for dragging Mercy Asiedu and the entire Ashanti Kingdom He made this known why speaking in an interview with Zionfelix on the Uncut show.
