A Nigerian woman has shared how she miraculously conceived after doctors diagnosed her with eight fibroids, with the largest measuring 10 centimetres.
In a video shared on her Instagram page, the woman, who got married in 2023, revealed that an abdominal scan during a routine checkup showed multiple fibroids, prompting her and her husband to seek a second opinion.
She explained that a gynaecologist advised them to try for a baby immediately and gave them six months to conceive before undergoing surgery.
Recounting her experience, she said:
“I got married in 2023. Then one day, I decided to just go to the hospital to do a checkup and I did an abdominal scan. The doctor said, ‘You have fibroids at both sides of your endometrium.
You can’t get pregnant until you take them out.’ So far, I can count eight fibroids, the biggest being 10 centimetres and the smallest being three centimetres.”
After months without pregnancy, she made a deposit for the procedure but kept postponing it while continuing to pray for a change in her situation during the Hallelujah challenge programme.
According to her, she fell ill on June 25 and contacted her doctor, who asked her to take a pregnancy test. To her surprise, the result turned positive almost immediately.
“It wasn’t even up to five seconds. I put that strip and it was positive. That is a day that I will never forget. I didn’t believe it, exactly six months. And at the exact time, God showed Himself,” she added.
Her testimony has attracted attention online, with many viewers celebrating her pregnancy after she had prepared to undergo surgery.
