Years after her husband survived a traumatic kidnapping ordeal in 2021, a Nigerian woman has shared an emotional look at how far he has come, celebrating his recent achievement of earning a PhD from Royal Agricultural University, UK.

The woman, identified on TikTok as Ifeoluwa_224, shared photos showing her husband at different stages, including his appearance following his release from the kidnappers and his more recent graduation.
Reflecting on what the family went through in 2021, she said the experience left her terrified and uncertain about whether she would ever see her husband again.
She described the period as one of the most painful and frightening experiences of her life, recalling how she feared for his life and future.

She wrote: “It was a terrible and Traumatic experience I thought I was not going to see him again, my whole world flash before my eyes several time they were ready to waste his life and truncate his destiny but mercy said no.”
Looking back at what happened to him, she also celebrated the fact that he was able to overcome the ordeal and accomplish one of his biggest dreams.
She added: “the life they wanted to waste and the destiny they wanted to Truncate here is graduating as a phd holder which has always been his dream”.
