A Nigerian lady has sparked reactions online after sharing a blunt response to a 60-year-old married man who approached her about a relationship.
According to a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), she explained that the man has a wife and children who live outside Nigeria but told her he loves her and finds her attractive. However, he insisted that their relationship should not be based on money.
She questioned what she would gain from the relationship if money and material things were removed from the equation.
“Sir, you don’t hold any value to me without your money. You’re 60 years old and you’re coming to me to look for love? It’s the confidence for me. What exactly am I supposed to be doing with you if it’s not your money? That’s the koko,” she said
The lady explained that she doesn’t seek marriage or children either, arguing that the man’s money and material possessions are what he has to offer her.
She also questioned why he would approach a younger woman while expecting money not to be a major consideration.
“I cannot love you. What you have to offer me is that money, material things. You see fine young blood like me. You want to have me, and the money will not be the basis.
You are old. You’re married with children, and you’re saying money shouldn’t be the basis. How dare you?” she added.
Her blunt remarks have sparked debate online, with users sharing different views on her expectations and the relationship dynamic she described.
