“I regretted my decision to get married because it wasn’t the right decision to take” -Ini Edo

Ini Edo, a popular Nollywood actress, recently shared that she had regrets about her decision to marry in 2008, recognizing that it wasn’t the right choice at that time. In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, as reported by Punch paper, Ini opened up about her past marriage.

During the interview, Ini revealed that her family had pressured her into the union with Ehiagwina, but she emphasized that she would only consider marriage with the right person. She expressed her willingness to give marriage another chance if the right partner comes along in the future.

“I regretted my decision to get married because it wasn’t the right move to make,” she candidly stated.

Regarding her choice to have a child through surrogacy, Ini explained that she had experienced several miscarriages in the past, which led her to explore alternative options. She expressed gratitude that her eggs were ble, enabling her to have a biological son, just like any other woman.

“I don’t have a husband, so I thought, I want a child for myself, whether I have a husband or not. So, what other options did I have? And I wanted it to be my child,” she added.
