“I Really Think I Should Be Paid For Being A Celebrity” – Speed Darlington

Nigerian songwriter and rapper, Speed Darlington said that he thinks he should be receiving payments for being a celebrity.

A video shared by Nedu Wazobia on Instagram shows the moment the rapper was having an interview with The honest bunch podcast. He said, “I really think I should be paid for being a celebrity”. Immediately after he mention the statement, Nedu tackled him, asking him why should he be paid for being a celebrity. They asked him why would he want to be paid for being loved by fans.

Darlington says nobody can strep him off his opinion. He said people gathering to snap pictures with him and loving what he does is more reasons why he should be paid. 

Nobody pays a celebrity for being a celebrity. In fact, they pay personal income tax as a celebrity. The ways Celebrities make money depends on how popular they are and what they do but almost every celebrity makes money through endorsement.
