I Must State That What Uzodinma Did To Me Was Wrong, Unfair, And Morally Reprehensible- Ugochinyere

Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, a member of the House of Representatives representing the Ideato South and North seat and a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has raised allegations of unfair treatment by the Governor of Imo State throughout the past four years of his administration. Ugochinyere expressed his distress, stating that all charges leveled against him were fabricated manipulations.

Specifically, Ugochinyere, who had been accused of murder, arson, and rape, highlighted that the court had dismissed all 15 charges brought against him. He voiced his frustration at the lack of understanding regarding the reasons behind the Governor’s hostility towards him. These false allegations tarnished his reputation to the extent that he was unable to return home for several months.

Quoting the exact statement released by Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, he said, “I must state that what Hope Uzodinma did to me was wrong, unfair, and morally reprehensible.” “One thing is clear: come November, our people are going to vote, and we are going to vote based on what is morally right, sustainable, and conducive to our people’s peace of mind. I had no personal issues with him, yet he expected me to fear him by declaring war on me. However, I fear only God. The numerous charges, including treason, murder, rape, and arson, are completely fabricated. I have never taken a life or committed rape in my entire life, and I have never engaged in any acts of violence.”
