According to Punch reporters, Nigerian singer, Kingsley Okonkwo, popularly known as Kcee, has said that he has made more money from gospel music throughout his entire career.

This was revealed by the artist in an interview with Lagos’ Cool FM, which was released on Monday.

The gospel record ‘Cultural Praise’ by Okwesili Eze Group, which was published in 2021, was cited by Kcee as being his most streamed work to date.

He recalled, “When I performed the gospel, many people stated, ‘It’s over, he’s genuinely headed toward his village. He’s currently bringing the music to the community. I believe he is relocating to a village from his town.

“That was awful. I thought, “Okay, let’s see how that works,” when I first heard that. And it never took place. With it, I earned more money than I ever had in my entire career.

Before the song was even released, he expressed his confidence that it would be a commercial success by saying, “I knew I was going to make a lot of money. Before I released it, I got into arguments with a number of individuals. They claimed that this one would take 10 minutes, and many individuals in our generation lack that kind of patience. My highest stream project to date was that one.
