Big Brother Naija ‘Pepper Dem’ winner Mercy Eke, has spoken out against detractors who persistently make fun of her Igbo accent.
In an interview, the Owerri native stated that she had spent nearly her entire childhood in Owerri, Imo State, and that the sole reason she left was to complete her one-year youth service, which was compulsory.
Reacting to her rant, one Symplychioma wrote; ‘No one mocked/laugh at her accent .They actually told you to embrace the accent . It’s the fact that she tried to change it to an American accent is what’s funny
