How DaGrin has been saving me – Singer, Chuddy K

Nigerian R&B singer, Chuddy K says that late rapper, DaGrin’s name has saved him from troubled situations on countless occasions years after his demise.

The artiste made this known while appearing as a guest on Jahbless Original Intelligence podcast.

Dagrin died in April 2010 after crashing his car into a stationary trailer in front of Alakara Police Station.

According to Chuddy K, there was a time his tyre burst on third Mainland bridge late at night while going for a show and some hoodlums accosted him.

He said that they tried to inflict harm on him but it was when he mentioned who he was that they recalled his affiliation with DaGrin.

The ‘Gaga Crazy’ crooner recounted how he performed his hit song for the thugs who were armed with guns and knives, before they let him go for his show.

Chuddy K also revealed that he and the rapper , DaGrin were signed to the same music label, Sati Records which is owned by Sati Ramoni.

”That name DaGrin has saved me a lot, I won’t lie to you”, he said.

In other entertainment news, Nigerian singer, Stanley Omah Didia, known professionally as Omah Lay has declared massive respect for his colleagues, Fireboy DML and Rema.

The ‘Understand’ crooner took to his official Twitter page on Friday, 12th of August to reveal that he respects them immensely.

Omah Lay also stated that he has so much love for Fireboy and Rema, who are both categorised as new school artistes like himself.

He tweeted; ‘Fireboy and Rema I love and respect you guys so much ?”

Meanwhile, Rema and Omah Lay were recently called out over their performances at AfroNation Festival in Portugal.

The duo were among artistes that performed on the opening day of the concert but fans were disappointed with their performances.
