Nollywood actress and social media influencer, Nimmy Ferrari, has been buried at her newly completed home, shortly before she was reportedly expected to host a housewarming ceremony at the property.
Videos from the burial emerged on Instagram on Monday, September 7, showing family members, friends, colleagues and other mourners gathered at the residence for the funeral rites.
The actress had reportedly completed construction of the house shortly before her death and was making preparations to celebrate the milestone with loved ones and colleagues.
However, instead of welcoming guests for a housewarming ceremony, the newly completed property became the venue for her burial.
Footage circulating online showed a large gathering within the compound, with several people involved in preparations for the interment.
One of the videos showed men digging a grave at the residence as mourners gathered around the area. In another footage, Nimmy’s remains, wrapped in white cloth, were carried by attendees to the burial spot.

The circumstances surrounding the actress’s death remain unclear, although reports circulating on social media claimed that she developed complications after undergoing surgery for fibroids.
Her family has yet to release an official statement confirming the exact cause of her death.
Nimmy’s death was earlier announced on social media by her colleague, Oluwakemisola Apesin, popularly known as Kemity.
Mourning the actress in an Instagram post, Kemity wrote: “Everybody is back home we left only you IDERA Nimmyferrari it is well.”
The burial came only days after Nimmy reportedly looked forward to celebrating the completion of her new home, turning what was expected to be a moment of joy into a gathering of mourning.
