Harde Business School Opens Enrollment for BLEP 5.0 Leadership Programme

Harde Business School has announced the commencement of enrollment for the fifth edition of its Business Leadership Executive Program (BLEP 5.0), aimed at equipping entrepreneurs, executives and emerging leaders with practical leadership and business management skills.

The institution said the programme is designed to help professionals strengthen their leadership capacity and improve decision-making, business growth and organisational management.

Speaking on the initiative, the Chief Executive Officer of Harde Business School, Dami Oguntunde, said many professionals often assume leadership responsibilities without receiving adequate structure or training to lead effectively.

“Many professionals carry responsibility before they receive the structure to lead well. BLEP gives them that structure. It helps them lead with confidence, discipline, and a deeper understanding of business,” Oguntunde said.

According to the organisers, the programme focuses on practical business realities rather than theoretical leadership concepts.

Participants are expected to engage in sessions covering strategy, finance, governance, operations, innovation, people management and sustainable growth, while also interacting with experienced facilitators and other professionals across industries.

Harde Business School stated that the programme enables participants to examine real-life business challenges and return to their organisations with improved judgment, execution skills and leadership capacity.

A recent graduate of BLEP 4.0, Dr Nkechi Fakoya, described the programme as impactful and directly relevant to her role as a school administrator.

“As a principal in a boarding school, I found BLEP very impactful and relevant to my work,” Fakoya said.

She explained that some of the modules, including negotiation, artificial intelligence, design thinking and critical thinking, aligned with her institution’s educational objectives.

“The negotiation course helped me understand how to approach situations where both sides need to reach a solution. The AI, design thinking, and critical thinking sessions also aligned strongly with what we are doing in school as a Google Reference School,” she added.

Fakoya further noted that the Finance for Business Leaders module gave her valuable insights into managing financial risks and understanding the business side of education.

“One key lesson I took away was that I should not be afraid to take risks. I learned how to understand financial risks, what to accept, and what to let go,” she stated.

Her husband, Seun Fakoya, also testified to the impact of the programme, saying it positively transformed her communication and negotiation skills.

“For the past 10 weeks, I have seen a transformation in my wife. BLEP has made a real difference in the way she thinks, communicates, and negotiates,” he said jokingly, adding that he might also consider enrolling in the programme.

According to the organisers, the programme has recorded over 300 graduates across more than 10 industries through four previous cohorts.

Enrollment for BLEP 5.0 is currently ongoing.

Harde Business School said interested applicants can obtain further information through its official communication channels.

The institution noted that it remains committed to providing professional learning programmes focused on leadership development, business growth and career advancement.
