Grace Ladoja to sponsor 100 women for breast cancer screenings in Lagos

Nigerian-British music executive Grace Ladoja is sponsoring free breast cancer screenings for 100 women in Lagos.

In a recent Instagram video, Ladoja explained that the initiative, which is part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, will give beneficiaries access to screenings at the Marcelle Ruth Cancer Centre in Lagos.

“So each appointment would include a mammogram and ultrasound, depending on what the clinic advises,” she said.

“To register, just click the link in my bio. It’s a really short form, and the clinic will be in touch to confirm your slot and arrange your appointment.

“The registration closes at midnight on the second of November.”

In March, Ladoja spoke about her experience battling the disease, revealing that she had initially received a diagnosis of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS).

“I was just doing a normal routine check-up. I wasn’t sick. I just found out during my routine check-ups,” she said.
