Four Nigerian nationals have been arrested in separate anti-narcotics operations carried out by India’s Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Mehrauli, South Delhi.
According to The Indian Express, the operation was conducted on Monday night in Gandhi Colony following intelligence reports on suspected narcotics trafficking in the area.

According to the anti-narcotics agency, its operatives stormed an apartment after receiving a tip-off.
The NCB alleged that the occupants attempted to destroy evidence by flushing suspected narcotic substances down a toilet before officers gained access to the premises.
The agency further claimed that traces of cocaine were found on the walls of the apartment as well as on the bodies of the suspects.
According to the NCB, officers recovered 318 grams of cocaine and six grams of heroin during the operation.
The report also stated that two of the suspects arrested at the scene were identified as Gabriel Uchenna and Igwe Joshua.
The agency disclosed that another Nigerian national, identified as Ugochukwu Nwabugo, allegedly attempted to escape during the operation by jumping from the sixth floor of the building.
According to the NCB, the suspect sustained injuries to the head, back, and leg.
The agency said its officers immediately evacuated the injured suspect to Fortis Hospital, before the individual was later transferred to the AIIMS Trauma Centre for specialized treatment.
Providing an update on the suspect’s condition, the NCB said:
“She is currently undergoing treatment at AIIMS and is recovering from her injuries.”
The NCB stated that investigations into the case are continuing as authorities work to determine the full circumstances surrounding the alleged drug trafficking operation.
