Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, may be a philanthropist who has a penchant for helping people but he is not much of a religious person or a church goer.

The ace Afrobeats singer gave this hint in a post today, October 2nd, where he revealed that he attended Sunday Service for the first time in a long while.

Davido was apparently dragged to church by his fiancee, Chioma Rowland whom he recenctly reconciled with after months of drifting apart.

The DMW boss who admitted that it was his first time going to church in three years, declared God’s goodness.

He took to his Instagram page and shared a photo which showed Chioma’s hand resting on a chair at the unnamed church they attended.

Davido wrote; “First time in church in 3 years… God is good”.

In other news, a clergywoman got into a subtle competition with the choir mistress during a service in church.

She was about to get into a praise and workship when the choir mistress interrupted her in an apparent attempt to show that she can sing the song more beautifully.

The cleric asked her to pause so that she can continue singing, she stopped for a brief moment but continued again as the minister began singing.

A video making the rounds on social media shows them having a back and forth on the alter over the right to sing first.

The clash left members of the church surprised as some could be seen laughing when the pastor increased the volume of her voice to drown that of the choir leader.
