Earlier today, the house of ex-militant, Eris Paul who is otherwise known as Ogunbos was attacked some unknown gunmen.
Per what we gathered, these unknown gunmen set his country home in Peremabiri Community in the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State ablaze.
It was revealed that these gunmen came to the community and started shooting indiscriminately and as if that wasn’t enough, they set buildings on fire.
Several reports stated that the ex-militant escaped the attack but narrowly as he was reported to have attended a burial service in the community.
A source who spoke to some reporters said;
”He is still in the community, doing fine. It is only that some properties were destroyed.”
The incident was also confirmed by the State Command Public Relations Officer, Butswat Ansimi who also said that the situation is currently under control.
