Ex-Chelsea Star, Giroud Nets A Stunning Hat-trick For Italian Serie A Giant In Convincing 5-1 Win



Former Chelsea football club of England star, Olivier Giroud was exceptional yesterday for Stefano Pioli led AC Milan team in their 36th league game of the season at home against Sampdoria at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in San Siro.

The 36 year old France international was handed a role to play in his team’s starting XI line-up following his outstanding performance for the team in their previous game and he was able to play his part and also contributed his quota.

Olivier Giroud was a big threat for the host in the opposition box in the whole 90 minutes of the game where he created a couple of chances, which as such for him directly involved in three of his team’s five goals.

Rafael Leao in the 9th minute of the game got the score sheet opened by giving the host the lead to make it one nil before Fabio Quagliarella got the visitor levelled in the 20th minute to make it 1-1.

Olivier Giroud in the game stepped up his game as he displayed some incredible skills thereby scored two straight goals in the 23rd and 29th minute respectively to make it three goals to one going into the half time break.

The host in the second half of the game were more deadly as they put up some more physical, tactical and technical displays thereby got the lead extended in the 63rd minute as Brahim Diaz made it four goals to one before Olivier Giroud completed his brace of the night, as it ended five goals or one at full time.

Olivier Giroud with his great influx of influence in the thrilling encounter will be hoping to keep the momentum going for his team in their next game as they continue their pursuit in the competition.
