She was born youngest to his parents Bill Cosby and Camilla Cosby in August 1976 in Los Angeles, California, USA. As of 2023, she is 46 years of age. Similarly, she grew up in her hometown alongside her siblings.

On January 16, 1997, Evin lost her older brother Ennis. He was shot to death just at the age of 27 during a failed robbery attempt. For his murder, an 18-year-old Ukrainian-born immigrant Mikhail Markhasev was convicted and later, the attacker accepted his crime. In an apology note written to attorney general Kyle Brodie, Markhasev wrote,

Not only Evin lost her brother but she lost her elder sister Ensa too. Ensa died of renal disease on February 23, 2018, at the age of 44.

Evin’s Defended Her Father when he was accused of Sexual Assault

In late 2014, news emerged that Evin’s famous father Bill has sexually assaulted dozens of women. Many women came forward and vocalized their bitter experiences with America’s dad Bill Cosby.

However, Evin came forward and took a strong stand by her father’s side.

With ABC News, she said,

“He loves and respects women. He is not abusive, violent or a rapist.”

When people are so quick to cast hate and make accusations of horrific violence against my dad, they are callous in their carelessness about the harm they are causing to others.

From her side, she did her best to support her beloved dad and tried to protect him from all the accusations. However, later her father was found guilty in court and was sentenced to three to ten years of prison. But, he was released after serving nearly three years in prison in 2021.

 I would always go backstage and helped the stylists at the Cosby Show.
