Ed Sheeran reveals Burna Boy is the heaviest weed smoker he’s met

Grammy-winning singer, Ed Sheeran has opened up on his experience with Nigerian counterpart, Damini ”Burna Boy” Ogulu’s smoking escapade.

The British music star said the self acclaimed African Giant is the first person he’s seen in this life that smokes weed so heavily.

Sheeran shared his observation about Burna who is his frequent collaborator, while being interviewed on the Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend podcast.

The ‘Shape Of You’ crooner recounted a time he walked into the studio and was totally confused by the air pollution caused by Burna Boy’s smoking.

Ed Sheeran said; “There’s an artiste that I work quite a lot with called Burna Boy. I would say he is… That’s the most I’ve seen anyone ingest weed.

“He came to the studio and I had a gig late on in the night. And it was very much chilled there, the door was closed. It was just smokes, smokes, smokes… And I remember walking in there to get a thing. It felt like I was not quite there [laughs].”

Nigerian singer, Cynthia Morgan, has averred that any personality or celebrity that publicly smokes illegal substances is misleading the people.

Cynthia insinuated this when she corrected US-based Nigerian professor, Uju Anya for posting a picture of herself smoking.

Uju had taken to her Twitter page and uploaded an image of herself standing by a balcony, smoking a stick of cigarette.

The academician captioned the post; “Minister of Enjoyment.”

In reaction, Morgan who now goes by Madrina, chided her, saying that smoking cannot be seen as a form of enjoyment.

A tweep slammed the singer and told her to mind her business, but she said Uju was misleading people so it was of concern to her.
