A lady has shared her experience on a date after she allegedly turned up at a restaurant wearing a wrapper and carrying a bag, only to be asked to leave because her outfit was embarrassing her date.
The lady, whose identity was not disclosed, explained that the man had invited her on a date and told her to wear something she already had because he could not afford to buy her a new dress.
According to her, she took his words literally and decided to attend the date in a wrapper outfit. However, what she expected to be a normal outing reportedly took an uncomfortable turn when the man saw what she was wearing.
She narrated her experience in a video shared online, expressing disbelief over the man’s reaction.
Lady says date changed after she arrived
The woman said, “Thank God I’ve done my hair. This guy asked me on a date and said I should wear what I have that he cannot pay for a dress for me.”
She explained that she subsequently arrived wearing the wrapper and carrying a bag, believing she had followed his instructions.
However, she claimed the man became embarrassed by her appearance and asked her to leave the restaurant.
The lady added, “So, I showed up in a wrapper and bag but he embarrassed me and told me to get out of the restaurant because I’m embarrassing him.”
