A man has shared his emotional experience after discovering that his girlfriend of three years was pregnant for another man, saying the revelation left him deeply hurt.
In a viral video shared on social media, the man recalled how he celebrated their third anniversary with his partner in September last year, unaware that she was already expecting another man’s child.
Man recounts painful discovery
According to him, he had invested emotionally in the relationship and even took his partner out to celebrate their anniversary.
He said the situation became more painful in retrospect because he later discovered that she was pregnant for someone else at the time they were celebrating their relationship.
“Do I actually deserve this? Last year September, we celebrated our 3-year anniversary. I even took her out to celebrate with her, not knowing that she was already pregnant for another man. Looking back at everything, it honestly hurts so much,” he said.

The video sparked reactions from social media users, with some offering words of encouragement while others advised him to move on from the relationship.
Sylvia sympathised with the man, saying the emotional pain could be difficult to overcome.
“You obviously don’t deserve it nor do anyone in such a situation. No amount of words or encouragement can heal you bro, it’s sad😢. Especially thinking about sacrifices you made during the journey..
Will be straight up with you. There’s no complete healing from this. Just patch it up. Try getting in another relationship as soon as possible to reduce the depression down to 60-70%. But there’s no healing brother,” she wrote.
Badmannasty encouraged him to focus on his work and move forward.
“My guy, na Naija you dey. Wipe tears, go work. Another person own daughter go still make you smile. That 3 years na school fees,” he wrote.
RevolutionNIG offered a different perspective, writing: “W0men don’t usually want to end up with w3ak men that’s why. A real man would be happy he dodged a bvllet.”
Big Brown also criticised the man for his reaction, saying: “Stupid man at ur age. See what you are doing to your self. Because of a woman with no reasonable benefit in your life. BIG FOOL.”
Newmoney4ever advised men to avoid becoming overly emotionally dependent on their partners, writing: “This is one of the worst stage in life every man should avoid. Don’t ever put any Nigerian girl in your head instead put her on your shoulders just incase she misbehave you drop her off like bag of cement.”
