COVID-19: Nigeria Records 829 Fresh Cases On December 26

On Sunday, December 26, Nigeria recorded 829 cases of the coronavirus, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control reported.

Lagos state recorded the highest of the day with 296 fresh cases. See the breakdown of the rest of the cases among other states below;

FCT-291, Kaduna-79, Rivers-40, Kano-35, Nasarawa-25, Bauchi-19, Benue-8, Borno-7, Edo-7, Oyo-7, Sokoto-7, Cross River-3, Jigawa- Ogun-2. 

This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 83,576. Meanwhile, 70,495 patients have been released from various isolation centers and 1,247 patients have died.
