COVID-19: Nigeria Records 1270 Fresh Cases of COVID19 On January 12

On Tuesday, 12th January, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) reported that 1270 new cases of the coronavirus was recorded across the country.

The reports showed that Lagos State recorded 435 cases, the highest of the day followed by the FCT with 234 cases.

Other states with fresh cases include Oyo-103, Plateau-86, Rivers-71, Enugu-51, Nasarawa-41, Delta-39, Edo-39, Osun-33, Niger-31, Sokoto-23, Ondo-16, Taraba-13, Ebonyi-12, Kano-10, Abia-9, Bayelsa-8, Bauchi-7, Imo-5, Katsina-3 and Gombe-1.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 102,601. As at now, 81,574 patients have been released from various isolation centers whiles 1373 people have died.
