In a sad report, a reverend father has been confirmed dead after testing positive in Benue State.
This happened at the Benue state teaching hospital and it was confirmed by the deputy governor of the state and chairman of the state’s action committee on COVID-19, Benson Abounu.
The Deputy Governor made this known in his recent address to the press on January 18 where he said;
”In the last one week, we have recorded a mortality at the Federal Medical Center in Makurdi, everyday we recorded a mortality, including this morning. A Reverend Father passed on this morning.
The other time, within five days we lost four prominent Benue people. so this variant is not one that anybody should joke with.
As much as possible, avoid going into any gathering of any nature for now. It is only if it is a must. The best treatment for COVID19 is prevention.”
