Conversation between kidnapper and relative of an abductee leaks online (Audio)

A leaked conversation between a kidnapper and a negotiator who is related to one of the abducted persons has stirred reactions.

The negotiator had contacted his relative named Edozie, and he was informed that they were abducted after attending a burial ceremony.

In the audio, the abuctee said that the kidnappers were demaning ransom running into millions and their grace period was to elapse on the day of the conversation.

The negotiator appealed to the kidnappers that there is no money to secure their released and he stated that the people they kidnapped are their brothers.

He added that everybody would die one day and this provoked the kidnapper who said that he knew about that before joining that line of work.

The conversation which was reshared online by Instablog9ja went on for a while as they tried to reach an agreement.

In similar news, a man identified as Mr Lukman Aliyu put his house up for sale in order to raise N8million (Eight Million Naira) demanded by gunmen who kidnapped his two children, Abdulkadir Lukman and Muhideen Lukman in Kwara state.

According to SaharaReporters, Lukman, a resident of Aseyori community, Alagbado also sold his car for N1.5 million and raised N500,000 from family.

His house was reported to have been invaded by six gunmen who took away his children last Wednesday, in the middle of the night.

A source disclosed that the kidnappers first demanded N20 million but after a series of negotiations, they told the man to bring N8 million to save his two children.

Despite selling his car N1,500,000, the money was still not enough, so he indicated an interest in selling his house to raise the remaining ransom.

A source told SaharaReporters; “Lukman has sold his car for N1.5 million and was able to raise an additional N500,000 from his circle (family and friends) to make it N2 million now.

“Since the kidnappers insisted on N8 million or they will kill his children, he has no other choice but to decide to sell his house. His condition is very pathetic. I pray government could intervene in this matter and save our community from these kidnappers. Our lives are under threat because we do not know who is who and who is their next target.”
