BREAKING: #Ukraine President, #Zelensky Speaks On Who Is Behind Yevgeny #Prigozhin’s Plane Crash Death—President Volodymyr Zelensky has said Ukraine was not involved in the reported death of Wagner Group chief Yevgeny Prigozhin.

‘We have no connection to this. Everyone understands who does,’ he told reporters at a Kyiv press conference today,’ The Kyiv Independent reported.

A plane left Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport at about 6pm local time yesterday when 100 miles into its journey to St Peterburg, it crashed, Russian aviation officials said.

‘An investigation of the Embraer plane crash that happened in the Tver Region this evening was initiated,’ the Federal Agency for Air Transport of Russia said, according to the state news agency Tass.

‘According to the passenger list, first and last name of Yevgeny Prigozhin was included in this list.’

In an unverified video shared by the Russian state news agency RIA Novosti, an aircraft can be seen tumbling from the sky as smoke spews out of it.

Russian reports said the doomed plane was an Embraer Legacy 600 business jet with the tail number RA-02795, which has long had reported ties to Wagner.
