In other news, former Italy striker, Mario Balotelli, has revealed why he is supporting Ghana at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, saying his loyalty naturally shifted to the Black Stars after Italy failed to qualify for the tournament.

Mario Balotelli made his feelings clear as Ghana prepares for its round-of-32 clash against Colombia following a spirited group-stage campaign.

After beating Panama 1-0 in their opening match, the Black Stars earned a goalless draw with England before narrowly losing 2-1 to Croatia. Their four-point haul was enough to see them progress as one of the best third-placed teams.
