Big Brother Naija star and Sports administrator, Ozoemena Chukwu simply known as Ozo, is about to make history by announcing the NFL Draft pick for the Cleveland Browns.
Ozo will be the first person from Nigeria to announce the first-ever Nigerian professional footballer drafted by Browns to play in the NFL.
The event is holding between 25 to 27th April 2024, and Ozo’s big announcement comes up on Saturday night at Campus Martius Park Hart Plaza Detroit, Michigan, USA.
Cleveland Browns announced the historic event through its official Twitter page on Saturday while sharing photos of the reality TV star. It will also be the very first and only NFL partnership in Nigeria. Congratulations to him!
The post reads; “Tonight, we make history as @ozo_chukwu will declare the first-ever pick announced from Nigeria in the #NFLDraft”
Reacting to the development, the Imo-born reality TV star stated that he is honoured to have been chosen to make the prestigious announcement of a fellow Nigerian being drafted into the Browns in the NFL.
Ozo wrote; “History! Honoured to be making the @nfl draft pick announcement for the @Browns. This will be the first-ever pick announced from Nigeria, following the Browns receiving Global Market Program rights earlier this year. This being the very first and only NFL partnership in Nigeria.”
