Bashir Ahmed Speaks After Wike Instructed Official in Charge of Abuja Street Lights To Restore Light

Bashir Ahmed, the former Media Aide to Nigeria’s ex-President Muhammadu Buhari, sparked debate on social media in response to a recent move by Nyesom Wike, the current Minister of FCT.

Wike was just sworn in as the Minister of FCT in the APC-led administration led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Bashir Ahmed disclosed in his statement that Minister Wike had directed the official in charge of street lighting in Abuja to restore any street lights around the city as soon as possible.

He tweeted that: “Honorable Minister Wike told the director in charge of street lights to do everything possible in the shortest possible time to restore lights in all the streets of Abuja”.
